I first visited Moo Shu Ice Cream two years ago, when we were in Ottawa with the VIA Rail 150 Pass. Hot and sweaty, Moo Shu was a great place to cool down.

On our last visit, I tried the Hong Kong milk tea and Froot Loops cereal milk, and while the cereal milk was pretty, the HK milk tea was the star.
After dinner nearby, I looked up Moo Shu to see how close we were to it, and a 500m walk later, we joined the line for ice cream.
I wasn’t aware of this on our last visit, but for a $1 donation to a local charity, they will ‘catify’ your ice cream cone. We also decided to get them in their freshly-made waffle cones.
This time, I opted for the Tang Zhong milk bread and Hong Kong milk tea, and the light flavour of the milk bread with the strong flavour of the milk tea was a great match. My cat was also extra adorable, so I walked away a happy customer.
The biggest change is definitely to the interior; in solidarity with Hong Kong, there are notes of support all over the wall.
