Have you ever had the feeling of knowing that something is made well but still not enjoying it? That is how I feel about good coffee.
I can recognize when I taste good quality coffee, but without sugar and cream, I do not enjoy drinking it.

I don’t know anyone in Canada that seriously calls it boba – it’s known as bubble tea here, so it was obvious how uniquely American this brand is.
When I first visited the Bay Area is 2014, my friend had recommended that I go here; but time constraints and lack of seriousness in trying different bubble tea led it to be forgotten. This past summer, my friend added it to our itinerary for San Francisco, and off we went in search of one during our one day in San Francisco.

We went to visit friends in the area and took the Caltrain down to San Antonio. After finding our way around (and the first rideshare I’ve ever taken), we were dying for a bite to eat. We headed to the local plaza where the Chinese place had not yet opened, so we went next door and landed at Los Altos Taqueria.
