Our first evening in Iqaluit had us scrambling to find a dinner place. Most places closed early, and there were only a few options in town, so we decided to go with one of the ‘fanciest’; The Frob, the restaurant at the Frobisher Inn.
We had a lot of coffee, tea, lattes, and the like during our trip to Vancouver. Staying in Gastown, we were surrounded by coffee shops around every corner, and we tried a new one nearly every morning (and sometimes afternoon).
Upon arriving in Vancouver, we dropped off our bags and showered, and had lunch before stopping by for our first hit of caffeine. I went with my fail-safe London Fog, and was decently satisfied, but unbeknownst to me at the time, this would end up being our most-visited cafe. Continue reading Coffee Shops in Gastown
After a morning spent around the sun, her flowers, rain, and many mosquitoes, we found ourselves in Hamilton in search of lunch. I had originally mapped out a cafe along King St, and as we were walking over, my two friends got distracted by the cafe with its windows open, welcoming us in.
We had a bit of time before our train, so we decided to spend some time at a cafe instead of lugging our bags around town.
Starbucks and Second Cup were just down the street, but we decided to try a more local cafe.
