Being thoroughly informed of the deliciousness of food that Osaka had to offer, we were fully prepared to have multiple meals a day during our short stay there. While I would not recommend this plan to anyone, it did lead us to trying the best udon I have ever had the pleasure of eating.

It was nearing 11pm, and we had just polished off a dinner of okonomiyaki, had some taiyaki and cheese tarts, and were wandering the streets when we decided we to pay a visit to the udon place before we headed home to pack our bags.
There was a bit of a wait, but within twenty minutes, we were seated and ready to order. We had decided to share a basic bowl of udon, but were promptly informed that there was a minimum of one item per person; we spotted the gyu suji, a dish of stewed beef tendon and konjak jelly that we had the night prior and greatly enjoyed.
The udon was the single greatest udon I have ever had. Perfectly cooked, with a bounce and a chew, and not uniformly shaped, I was instantly aware of how delicious is was, despite my full belly.
Please, please come here and try the udon. It was insanely delicious, so much so that I tried (and failed) to convince my travel buddy to come here at 7am for breakfast.
